Welcome

The Vascular Center at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences treats patients with all forms of vascular disease with both minimally-invasive techniques and conventional surgical procedures. We use a wide range of approaches, including both minimally-invasive techniques and conventional surgical procedures, medical and investigational therapies, and assistance with making lifestyle changes.

 

Minimally-Invasive Techniques:

  • Aortic stent graft for abdominal aortic aneurysm
  • Angioplasty and stenting for peripheral artery disease (PAD)
  • Atherectomy for peripheral artery disease
  • Renal artery stent placement for renal (Kidney) artery disease
  • Mesenteric artery angioplasty and stenting for intestinal artery disease
  • Laser and radio frequency (RF) ablation for varicose veins

Conventional Surgical Procedures:

  • Aneurysm repair
  • Carotid endarterectomy
  • Peripheral arterial bybass
  • Mesenteric and renal artery bypass
  • Varicose vein treatment
