Centers of Excellence at UAMS Medical Center include the Arkansas Center Research Center (ACRC), the Jones Eye Center, the Reynolds Geriatric Center, and the UAMS Trauma Program.
The Central Arkansas Veterans HealthCare System (CAVHS) includes a comprehensive acute medical-surgical facility on the UAMS campus as well as a rehabilitation, psychiatry and sub-acute medicine facility in nearby North Little Rock. CAVHS hosts busy General Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Thoracic Surgery services , as well as all surgical sub-specialty services.
